Holding Back the Tide
4 Cars Make a Train
4 Cars Make a Train is a video-poem Denver made while studying under Emily Packer at Amherst College. All footage and audio was recorded by Denver and culminated in this cityscape that focuses on environmental transition. Using the spirit and tones of the NYC subway, Denver is calling attention to queer narratives, liminal spaces, and the constant motion of the body through a system that is culturally diverse. The subway can hold every element, every emotion, and every memory for every body.
Video Art
This video is a short reel to showcase other video art or projects Denver has completed or are in development.
